Born on December 13, 1989, in Reading, Pennsylvania, the Taylor Swift family moved to Wyomissing where he began composing songs at the age of 5, and at the age of 16, released his debut album. Taylor Alison Swift was born on December 13, 1989, in Reading, Pennsylvania. Swift spent the early years on Christmas his family tree fields nearby Wyomissing. His grandmother was a professional opera singer, and Swift immediately followed in his footsteps. At age 10, Swift sang at various local events, including exhibitions and contests. Stunning performance at The Bluebird Café in Nashville prompted Swift to get a contract with Scott Borchetta Big Machine Records. He released his first single, "Tim McGraw," in 2006, and the song became a Top 10 hit on the chart. Also appeared on his self-titled debut album in October of the same year, which sold more than 2.5 million copies. Popular singles soon followed, as "Our Song" became the No. 1 country music hit. "Teardrops on My Guitar," "Picture to Burn" and "Should've Said No" are also successful songs.
Swift also received critical acclaim for its efforts to debut. He won the Horizon Award from the State Music Association (CMA) and the Academy of Country Music Award for Top New Female Singers in 2007. 2009 Video Music Awards
In 2009, Swift scored several awards for her work on Fearless Albums, such as Video of the Year and Female Video of the Year for "Love Story" at the CMT Music Awards. On September 13, 2009, Swift also won the MTV Video Music Award for Best Female Video, making her the first country music star to win the MTV Video Music Award. The victory caused controversy when rapper Kanye West jumped onto the stage during Swift's speech, took the microphone, and stated that R & B singer Beyonce was supposed to win the Swift award.
When Swift was surprisingly finally unable to attend the acceptance speech, West was expelled from the event. When Beyonce received the award for Best Video of the Year later on the show, he called Swift to the stage to finish his speech. West then apologized to Swift in person, and made a public apology at The Jay Leno Show.
Great success
Swift becomes increasingly hot commodity. Concert tickets went on sale for less than two minutes, and he also made a second appearance on the Saturday Night Live comedy show, this time performing as a host and music guest. In addition, he became the youngest artist to win a Grammy Award for Album of the Year in 2010 for Fearless.
In 2010, he released the album Speak Now, which featured hit songs "Mean," "Ours" and "Sparks Fly."
